Shelter from hurricane Dorian during our evacuation. Otherwise, room was in terrible condition. Price was affordable, hot water, cold a/c were positives, as were the very friendly staff. Smoke detector was non-existent, just bare wires in ceiling. That was worrisome. Filthy carpet, frayed towels, no cover plates on outlets were other negatives. Would not stay here again by choice.

The room was really dirty. The towels looked stained yellow. The ceiling lights are broken. We had to plug everything in when we got there.

The stay overall was very nice and the front desk staff was super nice and sweet. We however had accidentally booked a smoking room and the front desk staff changed that for us but upon entering our new room nothing had been turned on so the room was extremely hot for about 2 hours. Not sure if this was because we changed rooms or if it’s always the case.

There were dark hairs in our bed. The “breakfast” consisted of a few pieces of bread and a little waffle batter. There was NOTHING ELSE. I took a picture because that was one of the reasons we booked with this hotel.
