Localitation close to center of city, street market ad gelataria. perfect comunnation with before and after accomodation

everything ok

The localization was quite good, near to the city centre.

The person who served us did not speak English. Fortunately for us, I know French, and so did you. We had a broken lock in the bathroom, terrible. Yes, it was fixed the next day, but someone should keep checking that everything works in the room. Terrible breakfast, only cookies. I was in a strong shock. We paid for the breakfast but we needed to eat more out. A tax that was not previously mentioned on the booking site. Average location, especially at night, a bit dangerous. We were afraid to go back there at night. We felt like in Bronx.

Hotel itself is nice and arranged with good taste preserving building's history. Front desk guy was friendly and kind

The surroudings of the hotel. I've litterally thought that we are living in a brasilian favelas full of black immigrants, noise, and some garbage on the street. Although the nearby buildings was nice when innitially built, they are now shelter for the immigrants and looks desolating. Avoid this streets if you want to feel safe.

The staff were very friendly and the location was close to the main sites. The croissant we were given for breakfast was good. The market near the hotel is lively and has good food.

The bathroom was horrible with a sliding door that didn't work properly. It would not stay closed and fell off its runner. There was no hot water in the shower although the basin had hot water. The street is extremely noisy and the hotel provides earplugs on every bed. The city itself is quite deteriorated with piles of rubbish everywhere. Parking is impossible. The rest of Sicily was nice so we don't recommend you stay in Palermo at all.
