Comfort Inn Paducah I-24

Comfort Inn needs a zero no star rating when I arrived to check in there was no room available for me and per the requested special instructions I added to my booking the staff man and woman (manager) was very rude unprofessional about it had no customer service skills and no remorse for booking a room the night before someone else is going to arrive to check in the room but thought they were going to get my money anyway oh no way plus I had to go somewhere else Drury Inn to get a room they need to learn how to check the bookings and communicate with the customer to make sure accommodations are made and answer the phone when it rings I called over 30 minutes and no one answered but when I called in person it just rung and they were ignoring it

No ice, vending machines not working, bugs in the bath tub, water around the bathroom door, jam, carpets dirty, stains on pillow cars and towels, no coffee in our room, no one at checkout to voice concerns. We talked with a lady who said they stayed a year ago and it had gone down hill.

Garbage from rooms was outside several rooms on the second floor the afternoon we checked in. Sort of piled. It was still there the next morning. Not very appealing looking. Breakfast was just ok. Some things like the eggs and pancake mix were empty. Ice machine was not working. I think the place needs a little TLC or maybe someone didn’t show up for work.

We stayed at this property while visiting family in the area. We will not be staying here in the future. Our room stunk, the bathroom had mold, there were little black crickets in the bathroom and room. I woke up with bed bug bites. I notified front desk & they could not move me, or give refund so i could go somewhere else. She knew about the crickets and said exterminator was coming Monday.

While there are some renovation, and newer features added to our room, the aged carpet, beds, bath fixtures make this location appear too dated for our tastes. Overall a weird vibe. Uncomfortable beds and cramped bedroom despite the additional suite room was a minus. Staff was overall not present aside from check-in. There were a few deteriorating fixtures, like rusting shower shelves. Crickets in the room. Found a crumpled washcloth gathering dust under our sink/vanity. Some damage to walls and fixtures. Juice machine for continental breakfast was broken. Coffee was dire.

My stay here was not what I have experienced previously…the bathroom was dirty, the water wasn’t hot, the toilet seat was loose, there weren’t enough towels, there were holes in the lamp shades, the lamp bases were dirty & rusty,

The room had a nice atmosphere, like my own home. Comfortable and clean. Price was great for the value of my stay.

More parking space would be nice. I recommend that people back into the stall to make leaving easier.

The whole thing was not good

The carpet was sticky, and the room smelled of mold. There were ants crawling all over the AC unit and throughout the room. One of the beds had dirt in it. After driving almost eight hours straight, my son developed a severe headache, so we had to stop for the night. I typically choose Choice Hotels because they are usually clean, but that was not the case here. One bed was unusable, and the bathroom was disgusting—we wouldn't even consider taking a shower. If my son hadn't been unwell, I would have left the hotel, but I couldn’t risk worsening his condition. Additionally, the guy at the front desk wouldn’t honor the discount from my organization, which has never happened to me before. I am very disappointed with this overnight stay. Had to switch rooms because our first one smelled of pot. Black mold on ceiling tiles in the exercise room. Half the breakfast station was out of order. Toilets backed up in multiple rooms (saw another guest returning a plunger when I was at desk complaining). Pictures of the hotel were from about 20 years ago and do not reflect current disrepair of facility
