Quality Inn Verona - Staunton North

The room was fresh and clean, and the staff was great

I’ve been stopping here once a year for the last five years. It has generally been a good experience. The last two years have seen the price go up nearly 50% over what I used to pay. I come in with a lot of baggage, and I’ve always been able to get a first floor room. Despite getting there well before many rooms were filled, I was unable to get a first floor room. The second floor room I got was as far from a stairway as I could get. I had four trips in each direction just to load in/out. Wi-Fi in the room was unacceptably weak, and my shower in the morning was completely cold water for the entire time. This hotel has been a go to for me for a number of years, but I am unlikely to stay here again in future years.

The bed was comfortable.

The room had a mold odor. There were whiskers in the sink and pubic hair in the tub.

comfy bed, mini fridge, and microwave

small bathroom, limited food choices. we did eat at the Mexican restaurant in the 7-11 parking lot..it was very good!
