"Filthy - don’t bring your kids or pets!"

Filthy room - linens old and rough, sheets didn’t smell fresh. No shampoo or body wash in shower - thankfully I had taken a small bar of soap from another hotel chain but it was inconvenient, wet and slippery. Moldy A/C unit that smelled and cricket, ants, termites in room. Crap under the bed - coke bottle, dirt, dust, kong ball, ripped up toy mouse. Got a few pictures of the bugs but wish I’d taken more to show how many came out when I turned out the lights and tried to nap. Woke to an ant on my face! I swear I saw a bed bug on the nightstand and I jumped up and went to the front desk - lady was not apologetic but moved me next door where there were still some ants.

"SIUC Orientation"

This was an overnight trip. Overall, I would say the hotel and experience was good. I know this is a pet friendly hotel but one guest had two VERY large size dogs. Not sure if there's a limit or the hotel has certain rooms for pets.
