Atlantic Breeze Inn

This was a great place for us to stay on our way back from Acadia to Boston. The price was right for the short duration of our trip, and the location was nice. It is about a 10 minute walk down to the beach area where there are lots of restaurants and activities. The room was dated and simple, but clean. The AC unit was a bit loud, but that’s hard to avoid. Also, the motel sits right on a busy road, so expect to hear some cars. Overall we are pleased with the stay. The property manager who checked us in was very kind and friendly.

Staff. ! Man was rude from moment we checked in. There was sign on door stating masks to be worn in office. I'm ok with that and wore my mask. However, when the staff walked in he walked right by us without a mask on and didn't put it on until he got behind the front desk. My husband opened the door and asked where his mask was? He immediately said to me, (what's his problem? You aren't starting off on a good foot.). He kept repeating that. I felt intimidated. Then made me give him card for 155.00 deposit. With a whole list of things and what it would cost if stained, damaged, stolen. Also said if u want to smoke do it on either side of property. Not smokers. Felt afraid to stay , but we already paid. We left for afternoon and went to our room. It was fine except it didn't have microwave like I requested per their site, which they agreed to. I went to office and he argued with me saying I didn't ask. I had email in hand to say I did ask to which he replied it could be arranged. We opened door and it was sitting outside next to door. Didn't bother knocking , just left it there. We didn't dare touch anything. We were so scared of this place and guy and certainly didn't trust him that we immediately froze our credit card just in case... boy were we right.!Fast forward to check out, we were gone early. He tried charging another 145 to make 300 cause he said he smelled smoked through hallway behind our room. This is fraud. We are in the process now with our attorney and we will sue him, as this is not right. I was smart enough to take pictures before and after thankfully

No closet, no bathroom counter, sheets like cardboard, towels paper thin and crunchy, pealing paint, a/c not working and it was 97 degrees, old furniture that was failing apart, no amenities at all, fridge in room not working… old full size bed… the list could go on… no shower head so it was like taking a shower under a hose!!!!

Location and clean comfy room at a great price! The owner was very accommodating and super nice!

The owner of the inn is very friendly and makes you feel at home. It’s close to the beach and other attractions.

There was no breakfast the room was old rundown and disgusting and they were bugs in the bed and moths on the shower curtain

The bugs in the bed the room was disgusting the bed was horrible old hard and the sheets felt like newspaper

Mold surrounding Tub, and Outlets sloppy.

Overall the stay was poor. Price was fine, however, the place needs to be updated and the amenities should improve… a coffee machine would be nice and lights should all work. Maybe some flowers and landscaping would improve the inn.

This property was perfect. Great price, great service, short walk to the beach. We stayed for two nights. It was beautiful and just overall great service and I would Absolutley recommend and stay here again
