Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Foxborough

The rooms were exceptionally clean. The location was good. We were very happy to be able to bring our dog.

There was a sign on the gate into the pool area that said it was closed for the year. I chose this hotel because it was one of only a few in the Boston area that had an outdoor pool so we were disappointed.

The location was nice and quiet, especially for a family; however this was the ONLY positive of this experience.

Our room was absolutely filthy and unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. The night staff was not helpful and we ended up having to leave due to how unsanitary the conditions of our room were.

Pool was polluted and they didn’t give anybody any notice of that booms have no smoke detectors

Staff was very nice and accommodating. They responded quickly to all requests. The rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast was kid friendly with tons of options. Location is also amazing! Overall a great stay.

Firstly there is an unpleasant chemical smell coming from the A/C system that was truly awful. Luckily I had windows that opened or I couldn’t have spent the night. The place seems tired and not well thought out with large brown containers (?garbage) by entrance in back. The poll wasn’t working.

Pool was out of order, for a holiday?!! This wasnt posted anywhere on expedia or the hotel website, and upon checkin also didnt inform of it, until about an hour after, they posted a sign

We stayed for 2 nights with our son in late June. Had planned the trip around having use of the pool, but it was closed, and we found out has been closed the entire season thus far but the hotel did not give advanced warning which was poor form! In addition, the bathroom had mold/mildew in the shower which was really disgusting. The hotel also does not give you housekeeping unless you ask for it, and so our room was not cleaned when we returned in the evening, and I was told the only way to get fresh towels was to go downstairs. Again, the hotel never notified us when we checked in that we needed to request housekeeping, which just shows how poorly run this property is. The only reason I have it 2 stars is the breakfast was solid.
