"Very nice, new place in an area that's just OK"

A friend and I stayed one night in a double queen room. The area around the hotel is a bit industrial/dusty, but inside the place is brand new and quite comfortable. There are shops and fast food restaurants nearby but I wouldn't feel safe walking around the area after dark; not sketchy exactly, but not well-lit or pleasant. Beds are perfect for me -- on the softer side -- and breakfast was above average for a mid-range hotel stay with some hot items and the usual carbs, fruit, yogurt and drinks.

The location was easy to find. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The kids loved getting in the pool. Breakfast was okay but could be better. Coffee was too weak.
