Our first room we were put in was nasty and smelled like mildew terribly. Later found out it had NEVER even been cleaned!!! Yuck we stayed overnight in a nasty room. Then had a complementary breakfast (that was ALL) we got for the nasty room. To go down, the cook was the only decent staff. Never got refills, silverware and plates were dirty and nasty, the food was awful, they never checked on us. Even left other guests just standing there and never came to seat them. Terrible terrible experience

This hotel is beginning to show its age. The rooms are fine, but small attention to details have been missed. Plastic cups, no complimentary waters, no housekeeping. After two nights I had to ask the front desk about housekeeping. I understand these are little things, but they add up. I also understand that since COVID, staffing is an issue, but there was a sign in the room about tipping your housekeeper. They're asking for tips for what, exactly. When the trash bins are tiny, housekeeping, to just remove the trash, matters. I love IHG hotels. I'm an IHG member. This is just a one off, but this place is in need of an update...In my opinion.

Breakfast for a fee. On booking we were told breakfast was $11.95 but it was $15.95

We were told on booking that parking was $5.00 they charged our credit card $8.00 I called the hotel 2 days before our stay if I needed to make a reservation for dinner at Hartville cafe and they said no. This restaurant was highly recommended on booking, when we checked in I asked where the restaurant was the receptionist told us straight down the hall. When we went for dinner it wasn’t even open!!!!! The bartender said we could eat in the bar, very limited menu.
