Super 8 by Wyndham Martinsburg

This place was gross. The whole building smelled, the carpet was nasty, there was old rolled up carpet in the hall that was torn out of a room. I never sat down. We left and went to another hotel.

Very clean friendly staff, only issue I had was my card being charged twice for the deposit which I think should be applied when reserving the room via web.

The carpets were being replaced and piles in the way. There was no way to plug in the lamp that was already existing in the room. The morning of checkout 2 calls were recieved by 10am when check out was at 11. We did not have a do not disturb sign that could be hung. Seemed very unorganized. I will return to the town but not the hotel.

This hotel did not have outlets to plus into, including already existing lamps. The cords were shoced in a corner. We did not have a do not disturb sign for our door and when asked for one our request was not met. We had a key that did not work...rang the bell twice and no assistance. I actually had to call the front desk to tell them I was at the window. We were not given any guidance on the "continental" breakfast that appeared to be cereal. We also received 2 calls the morning of check out within 2 hours prior of check out time to see when we were leaving. There were rolls of carpet in the hallway which made it a struggle for large rolling suitcases. We plan on returning to the town but not this hotel.

Nice place... Clean comfortable... Would stay again on our way thru.

friendly staff, clean rooms, right next to the state police & they’re is fast food right across the street. also has complimentary breakfast in the morning! in a very convenient spot in martinsburg to either go in town or down I-81. close distance to the movie theater, would highly recommend!

Clean room and very friendly staff. Would stay here again. Breakfast was quick and easy, ceral and toast for me and waffle for my granddaughter. Convenient location to get on interstate or to head into town for some shopping.

That property needs to be completely from top to bottom. My room was cleaned and the person left the window opened on the first floor. A man room was robbed police were called

Room had a musty smell. Bath tub had soap scum. Mattresses were in poor shape and old. Pillows were very thin. Curtains were old. Wallpaper peeling. Faucets were loose. I would not stay here again. Hotel definitely needs updated!

The hotel was just what we needed for a quick wedding trip. The room had all the basics and the service was prompt. However, the room needed some repair and the hallways had giant carpet rolls sitting out for remodeling. I'm not sure how long that has been there but it wasn't exactly welcoming. The location tends to be a little sketchy but the hotel is right next door to the state police dept (so that made us feel safer). Overall, I feel like we got what we paid for.
