Rodeway Inn & Suites Jacksonville near Camp Lejeune

Pro: Cheap, friendly staff, clean sheets, great location Con: Needs renovation, extremely noisy, lights in the room didn’t work. The room had this old smell to it. The blanket looked dirty with cigarette holes in it. More information about the property in regards to a $100 deposit needs to be share with customer. This deposit will be given bck to you in 5-7 business days after they inspect your room to make sure you left it like you found it. Overall, the friendly staff & location makes me give this hotel a 3 stars. I drove 9 hrs to pick my son & needed the place for only one night. It was a Saturday so it was expected to be noisy but not as noisy as it was with people running around in the hallways or loud music coming from the above room. If you are traveling with the family, spend the extra cash for a better suitable place….. If you are traveling alone & tired & don’t care about how the room looks & want to save an extra $30 to $50 bucks for the night, this is the place to stay for one night.

Would not allow daughter to check-in although I made reservation and my credit card was charged for room. She had to go to other hotel. Haven't received refund

This was the worst motel that I have ever stayed. when entering the room the light didn't work. The cover was off the wall heating unit. The television didn't work, we had to get it fixed. The shower was nasty, I wouldn't dare use it. They only provided two small pillows for a king sized bed. There were stains on the bedspread. I'm so glad we only booked for one night.

It was absolutely terrible. This hotel was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. There were holes in the comforters, rust on every piece of furniture, mold in the coffee pot, mold on the mattress, the bathtub was peeling, the water was cold, obscene drawings on the wall, noises all night long. My kids were so scared they were crying. The staff was the nicest people but even they said how bad the hotel was.

The staff was friendly and awesome. However the bed was uncomfortable. The pillows were old and miss shaped. Expedia doesn’t tell you you need $100 credit or $150 cash deposit for the room.

The room was somewhat clean and the AC did not work very well. The bathtub had a crack in it and leaked water on the floor. So, will not stay there again. We only stayed there a few hours so we liked the price.

I had to leave hotel it was the worst experience I ever had

When we arrived we turned on the TV and the cable did not work. But they did get somebody in there at 12:00 at night to fix it. I was definitely pleased with that. However the room door barely worked. You had to lift up on what felt like a 200 lb door to close it. Luckily for our group it was me, my 25-year-old son and my teenage son. If there would have been 100 lb old woman staying in the room by herself she would have never gotten the door closed. Other than that it was a decent hotel.

The desk people are rude, it’s very dirty with the hallway trim falling off the wall and mold showing,the pool is green and this place is nothing like the pictures. any place is better than this place. One of the house keepers I saw for 10 minutes were amazingly nice that was the only good thing about this smelly place
