Super 8 Springfield North I-44

Booked online due to being Pet Friendly... arrived within hours of booking with my husband and our 2 service dogs( mobility and diabetes) refused to let us check in stating they didn't have any pet rooms available. There were 3 cars in the whole parking lot. I called the service I booked through do cancel and get a refund and was unable to because the hotel refused to approve the cancelation!!! (No I didn't get insurance on the booking because I booked it that day, just a few hours before) This location is a SCAM!!! Avoid at all cost!!!!!

Basic hotel but nice room the ac could freeze you out

This was the best experience at a Super 8 I’ve ever had. I saw prior reviews after checking in and they are hogwash. This hotel is remodeled and super clean. The pillows are fluffy, the bed is comfy, and the bathroom is super nice. I am thoroughly impressed by the value for this room. Also, the young man at the front desk was so nice and friendly!! Shame on these reviewers for judging people by their race. America is a melting pot!! We are all one. Come support this family. This Super 8 is behind Holiday inn near Macadoodles and Moon Town Crossings, right next to the highway. Great location!!! I cannot recommend it enough.

I was VERY surprised that this particular hotel needed a $150.00. Security deposit upon checking in! This really confirmed to me about how down market these minority owned or run hotels are. It made me wonder if this place was having damages or security problems. When I tried to inquire about this unique deposit request, I was rudely interrupted again and again from the owner or guy that runs the place. I never did get an intelligent answer. It proved to be best just for me to be quiet and accept the situation. The checking in process took about 10 minutes which was another puzzling head scratcher. Overall, it has soured me about continuing to support this minority group. I will now move back up the food chain so to speak.

The floors in the room I stayed in have seen better days. The same can be said about the bathroom. The bed is low to the ground and the mattress was adequate. The refrigerator worked. The place advertises a to go breakfast. When I checked out I had to ask first the to go breakfast. It was not offered at the time I f check out. I personally will not stay here again

Front desk clerk was very kind, and protective. Suggested I should not walk to any restaurants. Keep him.
