It was dirty. We only stayed once there because of a charge we would have had to cancel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The breakfast option should be removed because it was not a good clean choice. The pan for gravy was dirty and when asked at the front desk why there was none he argued about the time, the breakfast was scheduled to last another 2 hours, he got up and came with a can of gravy, took that and the dirty pan into another room and then came out with it. The hot and pool were down. After letting the desk person know that should be told at the time of reservations they did open the pool. The hot tub had water the first night and was drained the second. Wherever this is going, you need to read the reviews and maybe not support these kinds of hotels.

I stayed at the Super 8 in Watertown while passing through for work. It was the only place available that night so I went with it. Looking back I wouldn’t stay again. The man at the front desk was polite and helped me check in early which I appreciated. Still the place felt pretty neglected. The pool and hot tub were out of order and the laundry machines didn’t work either. When I got to my room neither bed was made. The bathroom wasn’t clean and there were visible hairs that should have been caught during cleaning. There was a strange smell in the room that didn’t go away and the AC barely worked. I could hear everything happening outside which made it hard to relax. There were stains on the furniture and the overall feel wasn’t clean or comfortable. What really pushed me to leave a review was an interaction I had at the front desk. I had to get my key reprogrammed after extending my stay and the woman working that day made it clear I was bothering her. I’m always respectful and try to be kind so it felt off. She was suddenly friendlier the next day which just made things feel inconsistent and awkward. I later found out the hotel is run by a family and I think the man who checked me in might be her husband. He actually encouraged me to leave a review so here it is. I skipped the breakfast because I wasn’t confident in the cleanliness. I also asked for a late checkout but it wasn’t accommodated. That part is understandable but it matched the overall vibe of indifference. In the end I think travelers deserve a clean space and basic kindness when they’re spending money to rest. This stay didn’t meet that for me. If you have other options in the area I would look into them first.
The stay was fine clean and bed was comfortable but they didnt have room service I requested towels and they didnt have laundry available so i had to reuse what towels i had the whole weekend

The mold smell in the room was overwhelming. The pool and hot tub were shut down, but we were not informed in advance. No elevators. Fridge in the room didn't work. Bathroom was half way through renovations. Overall, older hotels are ok, if they show pride of ownership. This hotel was a bust, not worth staying.
Not as clean as a previous visit. Breakfast was nothing special. Orange juice dispenser only gave water. No orange additive.
