Super 8 by Wyndham Manhattan KS

I’m very happy this Super 8 could accommodate me AND my dog for a 3 night stay. It was a short drive away from the best dog park in Kansas, Fairmont Park. We had a great time there on day one.

The room #114 I was in had two queen beds. The first night I thought I’d sleep in the one closest to the bathroom. Since the box springs seemed to be destroyed on one side however, I decided not to use that bed; fortunately the other bed wasn’t too bad, but the broken bed should have been removed before the room was assigned to any guest, I feel.

Brandi.. ( management)was wonderful. The house keeping staff was spectacular... I'll be back. I Stayed 5days, excellent location.

Excellent location to highways, food and shops.

Older property with musty smell. Stains on carpet and paint on the shower wall. Breakfast was less than ideal. A muffin or bagel option would have been nice.

I checked it on Monday about 6:00 p.m. . No problem no problem with the check-in. Paid cash like was supposed to. What's getting inside the most sinks were dripping I mean constantly I informed management that they didn't seem like they cared. But 8:00 the next morning TV went off like there was no signal. I explained downstairs at the front desk. They had heard about it and never came back on my whole state I was there. The guy saw in the morning when I checked out said he knew nothing about it but then he said we've been trying to call Cox. So I don't know what his position was at the hotel. The breakfast bar in the first day looked like it been raided by a bunch of lost children they had plain bread some plain cereal and the coffee was out. If that was a complimentary breakfast and went to all the peasants that live in town. So now it wasn't a good experience they didn't seem to care they didn't try to make accommodations for it. They just kind of let It Go. Will I stay there again never. I wasn't looking for the Ritz-Carlton would have been nice to have something that was decent. I noticed they started renting weekly and monthly stays there too. Which is weird for Wyndham to use it don't do that. But it's probably a franchise.

The housekeepers where very nice

That when I checked into my room there was no hot water and the phones did not work had to waste over a hour waiting for desk attendant to be able to get ahold of the manager and was told they where full and did not have another room and there was nothing they could do about the room having only cold water then once I called and got booking .Com involved all of a sudden they had another room 🙄

I booked this hotel for a friend who needed an inexpensive place to stay that was convenient to food options for a person without a car.
