Quality Inn Cortland - University Area

Our room on the first floor was smelly, damp and dingy. The attendant very kindly let us try a second-floor room. It had less smell and was not damp. (It too was dingy.) We moved to the second-floor room and were very glad we did.

The staff were very friendly and polite.

The room keys were terrible. You had to keep trying them several times over and over before it took it.

Not a great value

Hotel is very old and outdated, had a horrible smell. The wallpaper in the room was peeling and there were cracks in the wall/ceiling

Had a really nice stay here. An older hotel, but it was clean and the staff are tremendous. Very nice, personable and extremely helpful. I will definitely stay here next time im in the area.

It was just a bad experience. Everything was very dirty The bathroom floor had dead bugs in the corner The room had a mildew smell The toilet ran all night The carpets were dirty to the level that we had to keep our shoes on until getting into bed.

very crapy hotel! Trash in front the door, everything is dirty, old and crapy. Park lot has large hole, unsafe. Not stick waffle start to peel off, harmful ! So terrible

Staff was VERY nice and easy to talk to/deal with including the manager who was there in the day when I checked in. Honestly, my ONLY problem was with the dampness in both the hallway and the room. They need dehumidifiers at least on the main floor. The bed was really comfortable and I'm not a good sleeper - when I fell asleep, I slept REALLY well.

Room was too disgusting and dirty to stay. Front desk staff gave me a warning at check in “we are sold out and we can’t switch your room but I even tried to clean it myself and it won’t come out”. This place needs an inspection from the health department. Dirty with smell of mold and damp everywhere.
