Super 8 by Wyndham Danville VA

I would NEVER stay at this place again! They had several roaches in this one room! I was afraid to put my belongings down, I didn’t want to sit on the bed. The room smelled like smoke, when it’s a non smoking property. We had to wait at least 15 mins before someone came out the back to check us in after using their phone to call them. The absolute worst experience EVER!! Rated -0 out of 10!

Avoid like the plague!! the night staff was very friendly. that being said they were not trained properly and it took an hour to be checked in for a room already paid for.Roaches in the room black mold in the bathroom. Then no breakfast at all!! no drinks no coffee not even bread. when I asked the morning clerk she said guess no breakfast today. Side note ordered from dominoes and was no showed. Night clerk informed me that after 10 they usually wont deliver to the property! Stay away from this location Worst experience I have ever had especially from a Wyndham property I would expect a much higher level of quality control. will not be staying at this property ever again. You have been warned!!!

Very difficult to get someone at the front desk or on phone. Breakfast was lousy. Instant oatmeal -often only one kind - and cold packaged cinnamon rolls. Juice machine did not work. A few bottles of juice in ice in a metal bowl. Orange juice ran out by 7:30 AM. Coffee often ran out early. Television did not work. Night manager tried to fix but could not. Sink and toilet needed to be plunged. Light switch turned off one of the wall plugs. No way to know that until morning, when the cell phone was not charged.

The roach motel from hell. Residents talking and yelling loud in the hallway half the night. Next door room played loud music till 3:30 AM. Called front desk for an hour, no response. Rear entrance doos not secured at night. Trash from previous resident found beside bed. Informed Office of discourtesy residents upon check out. Was told I should have come down to the office and complained. Big sign at window that said fail “0” for office. Just needed a place to sleep while traveling. Saw the Wyndham and relied on the reputation. Big mistake on my part. Do not recommend this place for anything.

Renovated but room was dirty and bathroom fixtures such as sink and faucet were in bad shape. Area was shady. Pictures of property are very misleading.

Good location for Martinsville Race. Half hour from track. Nothing fancy but rooms were clean. Booked this last year as well. Will be trying different hotel chain next year. Wyndham Rewards could do better but it is a Super 8.

Elevator was out of order. People across the hall playing music loudly. Reported it to manager was resolved. I've stayed here several times in the past. The building itself had a musky smell. For $502.00 for a 2 night stay l was disappointed. I've always use this hotel for the Nascar race in Martinsville. Hate to say l won't be using this hotel again. On the brightside the night desk clerk was very friendly.
