Had to buy toilet paper, sink was clogged up but was fixed by me... but it was nice to get away and spend time with my other half thats really all that matter

The furniture in the room was terrible the chair at the so called desk was about to fall apart the beds needed new/newer mattress and the linens where so old and used they where dull dingy and spotted. The main hall to our room spelled like someone was and had been smoking weed.

Absolutely terrible, reeked of marijuana and had a roach, made a mistake and reserved a smoking room which I don’t smoke, got there and within 5 min I went to the desk to try and get another room which wasn’t available. Next day they had a non smoking room but made me pay a $50 added refundable deposit because they said I smoked weed in the room…again I don’t smoke period and THE WHOLE HOTEL REEKED OF WEED

Place had no hot water for weeks .

Stayed October 15,16, 2024, Excellent location in Tappahannock, within walking distance from Wal-Mart, Burger King, Subway, Wawa, Food Lion and other popular business. I requested a non smoking room, however everything around smell cigar smoke, outside, corridors, inside, the window of my room to the outside was cracked so the smoke of people smoking outside penetrate the room, even the bedspread had cigarette burns, so I have to assume this was a smoking room and they lied to me or either the mismanagement is such they don’t know which rooms are smoking and which one are not. The smoke detector hanging from the ceiling was disconnected and of high concern, if the fire marshal read this check room 105, sure the motel occupants will be evicted until fixed. Furniture was old and in bad condition. The toilet was totally lose and not attached to the floor; the bathroom fan could not be turned on because makes more noise than a railway locomotive. The corridor floor carpet looks shows never been cleaned, seems that carpet cleaner machines are not known in that part of the country. The ice machine has a sign temporary out of order, however the sign looks was there forever, if you want ice just go to Walmart, or Wawa or Sheets and buy a bag.

Had to wait until late evening just to get towels and wash clothes They had roaches Banged on my door multiple times at Very rude Called the police because I couldn’t leave at exactly checkout time (stuff happens) There was drug addicts at both the front and the back door

Horrible and incredibly unsafe. A gang of men hanging at the entrance, employees bringing their friends. Front desk person even admitted to having bed bugs on property. I immediately had my employee book a room at another property and submit for reimbursement in an effort to keep her safe and healthy. The property refused to issue a refund even though Expedia sided with me and advocated on my behalf with the hotel. This property should not be operational.

Very nice staff, but there was a loud poker game going on in the lobby when I arrived at 4pm. The juice machine was not working for breakfast. The whole motel smelled funky. I did NOT feel safe. Sorry. I would not stay there again.
