Super 8 by Wyndham Springfield East

The bathroom was clean, the fridge too. The bed was comfortable enough. It was a smoke free environment, but it had the heavy indication that this probably was a smoking room, or a room that had allowed pets. I unfortunately was not able to get the TV to work, but at 11pm I did not want to have the front desk have someone try to figure out what was wrong..so no TV. I did notify the desk upon checkout. I may have also seen a mouse run across the floor during my stay.

Hole in the ceiling of the bathroom and molded. Very heavy musty moldy scent as soon as you walk into facility and the room. Very small/tight parking area. Only positive thing was the young lady working the desk. She was very professional and polite.

The hotel needs a complete gut and update. Very poor place to stay for people with respiratory issues and mold allergies. Air quality is very poor.

Dirty, smells. Needs repairs.

I haven't been to a worse hotel. The main room door had to be forced shut, the bathroom door handle was almost completely torn off the bathroom door itself, and we weren't given the amenities for the number of people staying (3 towels for 4 guests). They wouldn't even give me an ice bucket, the manager stating that Wyndham didn't allow it. They gave me a baggie for ice, that was it. The manager appeared to have his wife and son there behind the checkin counter when I asked for an ice bucket, and his son was sitting on the rear counter with his bare feet on the counter. Disgusting!

Reasonably priced, a bit dirty in the room. You need to make a u-turn at the light to get into the driveway if not going in the correct direction. They should light the entrance to the driveway.

Missing light bulbs, no working bathroom light, stained linens, door half painted, hole in door and multiple holes in carpet. Pull their franchise.

The location, of the hotel was sketchy, my room smelt like mold upon looking to see what could be causing it. I found that the dresser legs we're covered in white mold. Appeared The bathtub had been painted with white paint. The mattress was worn out.

Keep looking. For just a tiny bit more $, could have had a much nicer room. Stayed just one night (State Fair and exploring downtown Springfield) and am happy for that. Cleaning was a swipe here and there, back of bathroom door was very dusty, remodel was laughable like a 2 year old did the painting. Sketchy area but close to highway. Had to ring 2x to check out - no one around. You can do better! Embarrassed for Wyndham.

No hot water in room cockroaches on walls in morning no extra pillows on premises. Patel was manager hotel packed with his family and the work trucks they had took up all parking therefore Patel would not let us park in front where it is safer.
