Super 8 by Wyndham Baker City

Breakfast was wonderful-far exceeded expectations. The arrangement of the waffle ingredients/irons/condiments could probably be optimized to get fewer people grouching at each other for reaching past them. <3 <3 <3 Refillable soap/shampoo/etc dispensers instead of all the wasteful little bottles! Small details, but the lady who checked me in late at night and after a long drive (I was so exhausted I didn't notice her name) was just plain nice (underrated these days) and clearly used to helping people who are almost asleep on their feet get through those last few obstacles between them and a bed. Entire building didn't smell like chlorine from the pool

This is industry-wide, but wouldn't it make more sense to decrease the cost of last minute reservations to make sure every room ends up filled (and stand out) instead of jacking up the prices? Cleaning stuff smelled bad but that's expected. Minor: lighting arrangement in the room was odd: the switch by the door turned on a little light by the window. Considering it's an older building and all the rewiring, drywall etc necessary to fix something that's not super important, I'm not really holding it against them. I feel like I remember a stain on the carpet or something that took me aback but I can't actually pinpoint it now.

I found a long black hair on the bathroom floor.

Super 8 in Baker City is a decent overnight place to stay. The price is right and the rooms serviceable. Nice to have simple breakfast offerings too! Concierge Randi was friendly and saw to our needs.

the breakfast was good, the coffee was very good. We're more of a yogurt and granola type, so some of the offerings did not appeal to us. The room was nice and the king size bed was very comfortable.

Our room was directly across from the ice machine and at times it was quite noisy. The bathroom door had a loud squeak.

Breakfast was good & it was hot. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

Location poor - next to a truck stop and across a busy highway from another truck stop. Very noisy. Also room adjacent to air conditioner (?) for the pool which ran most of the time.
