The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was super clean and comfortable. The mattress was of excellent quality, we slept so well. The choice of breakfast was great, beautifully presented and great tasting. The best of all it's very affordable. It will be our place of choice each time we visit.

My only dislike was the room allocated was at the top of the building up two flights of stairs. That was my error, I should have asked for a ground or first floor room. There is no lift and so people like me who have mobility issues need to note this when booking. Excellent otherwise. It deserves its three stars.

Friendly helpful staff

We had a beautifully clean sea-view room with en suite facilities on the 3rd floor. Great views of the sea and promenade west of the pier. A short 10-15 minute walk into the centre of town, with the beach closer though a walk down the cliff steps or path. Fabulous varied breakfast worthy of a 5* hotel. We are already thinking of booking for a later date in the year.

No lift and limited accessibility for the less able, some rooms share bathrooms, but it is a guesthouse with proportionate rates dependant on room facilities. We booked a double sea-view room with en suite at a very reasonable price. it was excellent, clean, comfortable and quiet. No bar or restaurant facilities other than a beautiful breakfast room, however there is an hotel with those next door open to non-residents and restaurants and pubs are within a 10 to 15 minute walk. Limited hotel parking onsite but on road parking right outside or 24 hour public car park within 5 minutes.
