Super 8 by Wyndham Idaho Falls

I NEVER stayed at this hotel, never checked in, and never stepped foot on the property — yet I was charged $76.00 in full. I mistakenly made an online reservation and canceled it within minutes of realizing the error. Despite the immediate cancellation, Hotel 8 processed the charge anyway. I disputed it with my bank, which conducted a formal investigation. What followed is deeply troubling. During the dispute, Hotel 8 submitted documents containing a FORGED signature falsely attributed to me and provided a written statement claiming I physically appeared at the hotel and used my card at the front desk. Both claims are unequivocally false. I was never there, never signed anything, and never received any services. Charging a customer for services not rendered is improper to say the least, Submitting fabricated documentation to justify that charge is a far more serious matter and reflects profoundly unethical, immoral, and unprofessional business practices. This was not a misunderstanding — it was a situation that required a bank investigation to resolve and should give any potential guest serious pause. I strongly urge others to proceed with caution.

Value for one night, was good. The breakfast was ok.

No coffee pot in the room. The TV did not work. Called the Lobby phone numerous times from the room; no one answered for the two hours of calling. Used personal phone, still did not answer. The mattress was so soft, and the edges were not secure. We almost slid off many times, so we woke up several times during the night. We did not ask for a handicapped room, but we were put in one. The shower head was lower than my shoulders to accommodate a seated shower. It was not comfortable to use.

The property was well located for driving. It was clean and the staff friendly. We did not use the pool but it looked clean. The amenities were good. Parking was easy.

Our groom smelt a little musty when we entered. We turned off the air conditioner and that seemed to help.
