FairBridge Inn Express Mount Vernon

Room was upstairs with no elevator available. People hanging around the outside of the hotel. No one at front desk at checkout time/metal gate pulled down over counter. Not much to offer for breakfast.

When we found it on the site for such a good price, I thought it was too good to be true. And I was right. The lack of cars in the parking lot should have been a red flag. The room was spacious enough, but the beds were hard. It was like trying to sleep on a slab of concrete. The coffee maker was about trashed. There were only 10 watchable channels on the TV, with no local channels at all. The free breakfast was a joke. The cereal was stale. The toaster didn't toast. And the fruit looked like they bought it two weeks ago. And then, there's the ants. At the breakfast counter. In our room. In the hallway. EVERYWHERE! I can assure you, I will NOT be staying there again.

Nice clean and big room comfy bed and very nice staff Healthy breakfast , big parking lot , and coin laundry , mechin and very clean and comfortable stay hear I like to stay and staff very helpful they have wending machín also

Really friendly & helpful staff. Very clean facility compare with big names hotels. Also they provide fresh complementary breakfast will definitely stay agin in this facility it’s not too expensive best deal in town

Nice family owned business. Price was very affordable. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Good breakfast. Cozy and quiet. Clean and comfy. Nice area. Close to restaurants and stores. Microwave and fridge in room.

Rude rude dirty rude

Front desk was very nice. Reminded me of a nursing home walking to my room. Say down to eat in room. Didn’t even unpack. Roaches on pop can and then in our box of food. Grabbed our stuff walked out. Received refund.

The hotel served it’s purpose for what i needed but my room smelled like a horse stall.

I work in the Mount Vernon area on a weekly basis. Last week when I showed up to get my room and found out that all the rooms had been booked. The owner apologized and said that his partner booked all the rooms. The partner didn't know that I was there on a weekly basis. That week there was a factory shutdown and all the local hotels were full. The owner offered me a room in his families apartment for free. Even though it was a inconveniences it saved me from having to find other accommodation. I appreciate that they went out there way to help.
