This Hotel should not be in Business ANYMORE!!! Rooms are Busted up, Dirty, Smells Terrible, Linens are Filthy, AC Cover OFF and DOESN'T WORK!! (Manager Blamed it on being Hot and Humid Outside 🤬) One of our rooms shower didn't work and we got a Whole $20.00 Discount off of $180.00. WOW!!! Sad to say, the list can go on. The ownership of this hotel are ONLY in it for the Money and NOT Customer Comfort. They are putting Super 8's name in the Gutter!!! Second night of our Adventures. We had Reservations at the Shokapee Super 8. Was VERY Scared that we were going to have the same experience. WOW!!! 💯 Difference. They are taking Pride in their Establishment. Not disappointed in the Super 8 at Shokapee 😃 Definitely Recommend!!!

They did just fine for a small Family owned hotel. I booked it because it was close to the course that we were playing and it had a hot tub!

Quick in and out. Friendly. Breakfast was available. Pool and stuff available. Red wing is a cool little town. Casino is so close.

We had a very disturbing experience that left me feeling unsafe and would definitely not recommend. First off the check in was smooth and then room we were given was in older part of hotel. You could smell people smoking weed in the back parking lot and entryway we checked into a room that was disgusting had broken latch and stunk like sewer. Beds were old and AC was dusty and not working. The front desk man came up and knocked within minutes of us checking in and told us he gave us the wrong room and had new keys for us (I hadn’t even notified him yet so chalked it up to human error) the next room smelled better and was clear across to a newer addition, AC worked quickly. Right away I noticed newer beds, although there was an attached door to an adjoining room that wouldn’t shut fully and looked like furniture drag marks along the wall and door. We had to pull upwards on the entire door to get it to latch. The scary part (I have kids) and at around 3am I woke up to someone jiggling the attached room door and trying to get in knocking then speaking Spanish, then stopping more loud talking and making loud “wailing” noises until about 4:30 - 5 am. I ended up propping stuff against the adjoining door and got the heck outta there early. Breakfast was pretty sparse with what they offered and the pool was looking like it needs to be drained and cleaned at the bottom. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel, DO NOT recommend at all!

The worlds smallest bath, exterior deferred maintenance, slow drains, no smoke detector, staff friendly and reasonably clean, but grossly overpriced.

It smells bad, it's dirty in hallways and rooms. Made the mistake of peeling back sheets to check for bedbugs, mattresses filthy, stained and disgusting. The while facility is run down and gross.

The front desk person was super friendly. They were the only one working on a day when they were sold due to a local event. The beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the room was smelly. It seems the smell was in the sheets and towels. There was no hair dryer. The bath towel was really small. The floors seemed grimy. The smell of the room was in my clothes after leaving. It was overpriced for the quality- but I assume there was an upcharge due to demand.
