"This hotel needs a lot of upgrades!"

Woman at the front desk during check out was inattentive. Not friendly at all. Room and hallway smells very bad. No carpet in the room so not sure where the smell comes from.

"Not super at super 8"

Well let’s start by saying the staff were amazing however it was a weird lobby area not in center of hotel off to the side. I only saw one dolly cart luckily I had my wagon I use for softball gear . The smell was not pleasant. I bought car freshener and put in air conditioner to help with smell. There were only two towels in bathroom even though there was three of us . I did go ask for another towel and got one. The smoke alarm went off in our room by us Taking a shower. Our bathroom door did not shut . The pool area was not vented and only 6 chairs for parents to sit in with several softball teams staying there not good, the door to the outside of pool area has no door handle so there was a big hole maybe that was the ventilation for pool area ? Again staff was great

Clean and quiet rooms! Very beautiful property! Clean bathrooms and clean pools! I will recommend this hotel if your traveling to Red Wing!

Booked one night stay with a non-refundable rate the same day we needed to stay - as we were traveling through in the process of moving. We chose this hotel because we have one cat and it was listed as “pet friendly” with dogs welcome and other pets considered. We noted that we were traveling with a cat. They did not allow the cat even though he was kenneled. They were rude and flat refused to refund the booking. On top of that, the property is very run down. Musty smelling, outdated by decades, dark, and extremely over priced - glad we didn’t stay there in the end. However, they still do not deserve to keep our $160.
