Super 8 by Wyndham Gainesville I-75 Hospital University Area

No elevator. I have handicapped wife. Dirty shower. Dirty toilet. Ac not operational. Overall awful

Very clean and nice staff, conveniently located.

This was the WORST hotel that I have ever stayed at! While the staff were all pleasant, the accommodations were terrible - when I walked in the room it smelled like bug spray, there were hairs on the sink and in the shower, the floors were sticky and there was no caulking around the air conditioner which would probably explain the two cockroaches that visited me. The security bar on the door hardly worked as it looked like it was a replacement for one that had been forced open! I checked in late as my flight into Gainesville was late so I had to spend the night but I checked out the next day and found another hotel. To the management - please do something with this hotel so that staff and guests can feel safe and comfortable! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!!

Good rooms and clean

Checked in online day before with pictures of license and credit card. Shower up at hotel next day and they said they had no record of my pre checkin so I had to Checkin again with same info. Check in time was 3pm and we were there at 3:05. They had to check to see if room was even available. After waiting for her to physically check the room she came back down and gave us the room key. We went up and door was open with a guy in our bathroom still cleaning. He promptly left. Later we realized after using the restroom that there was no hand soap in the bathroom and even the body gel in the shower was empty. There was a different bottle of bath gel on the floor of the shower which we ended up using for hand soap and bath gel. The fridge in room was not cold. Tried using temperature dial in fridge and it just spun and spun. Had to guess which was colder. Light by one side of bed was not plugged in and there was no other nearby so it was unusable. Coffee maker was not plugged in and had to move it to the sitting bench across the room because that was only usable outlet. Room had no closet and no drawers to put any clothes away. There were three hooks on wall for hangars and a couple open slots to put clothes. Pulled sheets down to get ready for bed and a spider crawled across bed. Killed it with a tissue. Pulled sheets down further and there was dirt in bed. Went down just after 6 to check out and he took room key. Got email after 8am to checkout online. Unacceptable!

Terrible customer service. Made the incorrect reservation and added insurance to booking., I called within 3 minutes of making booking and they would not refund money. Instead they gave me a customer service line to call and then the customer ice line said to call the hotel and it was up to them if I received a refund. POS facility

Very clean Quiet

A beautiful hotel and quiet little secret in Gainesville.

All good , but they need to have irons in the rooms, and more power in their shower and the entrance is really hard to go to the rooms

WE LEFT AFTER AN HOUR IN THIS PLACE WITH NO REFUND! This place is terrible! 3 story hotel with no elevator. Walking in the room there is a strong musty smell as things are not properly cleaned. The front door to the room Had been glued back together from being kicked in from the outside. Tiles on the room floor separated and peeling up make it uncomfortable to walk on. Bathroom shower was very dirty and soap dispenser was empty. When we tried to use the hdmi on the TV it was locked and the only thing we asked this place for was to unlock it that seemed to put the entire staff of 3 into panic the girl at the front desk lied and said there was no maintenance staff to help and no one else knew the password. A few mins later a the guy from the front desk John Mark showed up to the room and was the only understanding and professional employee this place has he should be managing it. As he is trying to explain to us why the hdmi port is locked a maintenance employee shows up literally screaming at him and us saying we cannot use the hdmi as he has them locked for a reason and if used it will destroy all of the tvs in the hotel what a joke. SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ELSEWARE YOU WONT LIKE IT HERE!
