Excellent air conditioning to cool the room on a very hot day. Very comfortable beds and excellent, hot shower.

My husband and I stayed here for one night to attend our nephew's graduation. We made a reservation here because it's dog friendly and very close to OSU. The pet fee was reasonable at $20/night per pet. The room was somewhat updated but clean. The walls were paper thin - we could hear what was going on in the next room. The breakfast buffet choices were slim. They also had an indoor pool which is a plus.

The room smelled like smoke and mold. It wasn’t overwhelming but it wasn’t pleasant.

Only 1 regular coffee in room with 2 people. Need to clean corners of rooms. Exit door was broken so anyone on the street could come in. No hot breakfast like I remembered from other Motel 8's I've stayed at. No hot spa that other Motel 8's have.

Fantastic location to downtown , good water pressure and hot water, good air conditioning, nice amenities ie microwave fridge and coffee machine Better bed than expected

Very outdated Had a smell in room Possibly the cover up with a perfume type smell The above positives were happily surprises considering the outdated rooms and smell
