This hotel refuses to cooperate with investigations into theft of guest property. My girlfriend and I checked into the Ontario Airport Convention Centre Premium Hotel on November 25, 2025, and parked our electric bicycle, worth $600, outside room 105. The next day, November 26, the electric bicycle was stolen. At 2:05 PM, I called 911 (report number P253300262). Around 5 PM, the police arrived and questioned me. I requested to view the outdoor surveillance footage facing room 105. The hotel receptionist reviewed the footage from inside the room for about half an hour and then showed the police footage from a week ago. I did not seek compensation from the hotel, but the hotel's attempt to mislead me and the police by claiming I am Chinese and have language difficulties is unethical. If the surveillance footage were reviewed, the thief would certainly be caught. The hotel's lack of cooperation and disregard for guest property loss raises suspicions about the relationship between hotel staff and the thief! Therefore, I am leaving this message to warn other guests that this hotel is unsafe.

Good for a short time.

We arrived after a very long day(s) of travel. The man at the front desk was kind and pleasant. As we were chatting the woman who was working the next shift came in. We continued a delightful conversation, without keeping me too long. I was just comfortable enough to mention my daughter was flying in that night. The woman cheerfully offered the driver to pick her up. I was a little nervous since we hadn't made that plan with my daughter. Seeing my hesitation she said my husband could go with the driver. It was perfect! Then, we went to park. We rented a 12 passenger van for this trip and parking wasn't always simple. As we were unloading, in front of the building, having been unsuccessful finding parking once around the building, The night clerk came out (calling me by name-impressive!) and let me know we could park over on the side. She was so thoughtful! The room was clean and in better shape than a hotel we had stayed in a few nights before. We had two rooms because our family size and our kids are older now- I didn't worry about my kids In the other room. Everyone slept well and we were ready for the next leg of our trip! Thanks so much to the front desk staff for helping a tired traveler smile and feel at home!
