The Freeport Hotel, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Parking was great, and the little breakfast station was good.

Staff weren't at the desk and we had to call someone to come check us in, and ended up waiting probably 15 minutes to check in. The building smelled like weed, and it smelled like propane outside. Our room and the contents were pretty disgusting. One of the 'clean' hand towels hanging up had been used and was crusty/crunchy with something yellowish, the shower floor looked like it hasn't been cleaned in month, and there was something brown that had splashed onto one of the walls.

the breakfast was more than we expected. Good variety of breads,cereals also hot tasty eggs and sausages which were plentiful. Only item that was disapointing was the coffee - very weak.

Location and the beds were comfortable

Needs some work and rooms were small

The location was.great however, we did not stay. We left. Room was dingy and scary. Seemed a little seedy.

The check in process was unbelievably weird. They didn’t know what rooms or occupied. Hello! They only have 80 rooms
