Super 8 by Wyndham Johnstown/Gloversville

For $100 a night I got put into a room right beside the laundry room up front. You could hear the noise from that room in my room a lot. There was a spider in my bathtub and the door sits a good couple inches off the floor and lets in an absurd amount of light, when the room is dark, from the hallway. The room was freezing cold when I first got into it, almost felt like I could see my breath. The staff was friendly enough but the place wasn’t worth no $100 a night

First floor

Air conditioner was very loud and water kept leaking in

2 of 3 showers were cold. Let the water run for 5-10 minutes and couldn’t wait any longer. A/C unit’s control panel was so worn, the power button and something else were worn through. Had to get the guy from the front desk to use a pen to stick in the hole and hit the switch. ‘Breakfast’ included a raisin bagel or an English muffin and coffee from a machine or juice from a machine.

The people were nice but the hotel did not provide much. There is no elevator so there is no way to get up people in wheelchair or rollator. The toaster is not working well. There is no breakfast it is just bagels and english muffins so it is misleading. Also I am pretty sure the Queen was a full size bed. I have a queen at home and it is bigger than the bed in our room.

Location was great. Hotel staff were very pleasant, friendly, and nice. Room was very clean.

It's a non-smoking hotel but our hallway was over powered by the smell of weed (pot).

Smells like cigarettes and weed ! Carpets are nasty. And it’s very noisy
