Great area, super clean, friendly and accommodating hosts. Fun breakfasts. Super cool decor. The owners are collectors. So much cool stuff to look at—if you’re not out wandering about.

It was very well equipped with everything you need. It was so central so easy to walk to sights and restaurants. Fausta was so helpful and welcoming.

Don’t bring a car here !

Great hosts great position very clean and cared for building right in the heart of everything and very close to overnight parking

The place is locked up like a bank vault you need a key from the street, another key into the lounge bedroom area and a key to your room. The room doesn’t have any power or lighting unless you use key for that as well when you arrive back. Only problem is that one night my wife had to go out for a short while taking all the keys with her ( keys can’t be separated) and I was left in a pitch black room reading with a phone light. A seperate power key would be advisable

A beautiful apartment building located in the heart of the charming Ortigia, owned by the wonderful couple, Fausta and Elio. Their artistic spirit and love for books create an enchanting atmosphere that invites everyone in. Every detail of the decor reflects their thoughtful planning and passion for aesthetic beauty. Each morning, we were treated to a delightful breakfast featuring an array of delectable Sicilian dishes and snacks, bringing a fresh surprise to our palate every day. Communication with Fausta and Elio was warm and inviting, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived.

We had a lovely stay here. Such a beautiful building, brilliant hosts &fantastic breakfast. It was so relaxing and we look forward to returning here on our next trip to Sicily

We thought this was one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. From the location, the hosts, the facilities, the free thoughtful stocked items, to the layout of the apartment. And rare of rarest, an elevator!! We can recommend this to anyone.

One thing could be a sofa or two easy chairs in the seating / kitchen area, but not mandatory.

I really loved Casa VerbaVolant ;it was one of the most unique places I have ever stayed....it was all newly done, exquisite taste in all detail....room very ample in size with big window ane lots of light, good size bathroom. Great location, right in center of town. Mostly I loved the dedication of the owners and their sincere concern for their guests....but the best part was the history. This family owned a book publishing company, so the rooms are filled with wonderful, special books...and there are 61 typewritters throughout! The owner went overboard in the breakfasts, going to several different places to find special pastries, chocolate and coffee......I especially loved the pistachio latte!!! A very special placek indeed!

Wish I could have stayed longer!
