Family room was very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff were always friendly & helpful. Its a huge hotel & never felt too busy. The highlight was our nighttime jungle walk - thank you Carolina!

*Booking.com buyer beware* When we checked in as a family of 4 (kids 8 + 11) we were told that the kids weren’t included in our included breakfast deal. After showing them our booking.com booking & some back & forth discussions they honoured the included breakfast for the kids. Booking.com & the Shangri La Rasa Ria need to sort this out.

Our room was in the Garden Wing 1st floor and we had the best view of the pool and beach from it, It was lovely to sit in the chairs on the outside verandah and just watch the activities at night, especially the fire works which were amazing. We used insect repellent and had no problem with mozzies or sandflies, even when going on the activities in the bush. Beds were so comfortable and room very big and clean. The Breakfasts were amazing, so much variety and they have a kids corner so if you have fussy eaters they were catered for. Staff were amazing and so friendly. Agnes makes the best Omelette but she is also a beautiful person who kept checking I was ok after a fall before coming to the island. The restaurant staff are great as well and especially Shareen and Jessic. Nurul at reception is really friendly and helpful and Fi Fi is amazing and so helpful with our requests and made sure that ice packs were sent to my room. All the staff and Transport drivers are very friendly and helpful

Dated decor & felt dirty.

The facilities were excellent, the food was exceptional and the staff were most helpful. The sunsets are gorgeous.

The rooms can be a little damp and musty in the hot and humid weather. We asked to change rooms initially and our request was granted and the staff provided a dehumidifier.
