The room was clean, comfortable, and generally pleasant, and the shower was excellent. Despite some minor housekeeping issues, the accommodation itself was the strongest part of the stay and provided a comfortable place to relax.

I was disappointed by the overall guest experience. The staff were unfriendly and not particularly welcoming, and reception was unattended at check-out despite a queue forming. Breakfast was poor, with only lukewarm food, no visible replenishment of items, and no coffee available at all. Parking was also difficult due to limited availability during an event.

To close to a very busy road. They said I had a room upgrade. I would hate to see the original room. I travel extensively but I haver felt unsafe in a room.like this one. I got up twice to ensure the foor was locked. The bed was two uneven mattresses joind together.

Loved the location and cleanliness of the unit.

Despite being told that we could check in until 10pm, the front doors were locked and reception closed at 9:45 pm. It took a while to answer the intercom and I kept getting cut off. An additional blanket and some smaller pillow options in the room would have been great.

Friendly helpful staff

We arrived and walking into our room - it smelt really bad - like someone had forgotten to flush the toilet (but the toilet was clean) and the tv was broken - the screen was smashed. Im the evening we had someone try to get into our room which terrified my daughter

Great wee hotel close to the events centre. Lovely staff, comfy beds and so nice to have a hotel that still does hot chocolate!

View wasn’t the best, but that can’t be helped due to location.

Having stayed here before, we love the location being close enough to the airport as well as the bus and train hubs which connect you to wherever you need to go. The breakfast here is awesome and the quality is great for the money you spend. Having a large carpark which isn’t an additional cost is a huge bonus, too. We always enjoy our stay here.

The receptionist who greeted us wasn’t overly welcoming and had us feeling like an inconvenience which was a shame. The only things communicated to us were asking for our surname, whether we’d checked in online and if we were using the same card before telling us we were on the first floor. Basic things you’d expect to have communicated eg breakfast details if included in booking which ours was, checkout time, wifi, the room booklet being a QR code etc weren’t, and after sleeping on it, we thought that it was a poor first impression. It wasn’t busy when we checked in either. Thankfully, we’d stayed here a few years ago, so it didn’t ruin the experience. The restaurant staff were all great!
