"Lovely comfortable hotel"

The breakfast was ok, due to a staff strike at the hotel it was very limited on services and breakfast was given to us complimentary due to the industrial action so I can’t complain about that. The rooms were lovely and roomy the view amazing.

Even though I was aware parking was charged extra I really don’t understand why, they have a dedicated carpark under the hotel and for the cost of the room and then to charge $20 per night on top is a bit rude really. I feel as a guest it should be included.

"Labour strike will affect your stay"

There was a labor dispute that has been going on for weeks while we were there. So hotel was understaffed. However the staff that was there were smiling, and were welcoming and made us fell good. Breakfast staff were amazing! Especially the host! I regret not getting his name but he was perfect!

Labour dispute = really understaffed We had chosen this hotel because of the amenities that we did not get to enjoy. Restaurant / spa/ pool were all closed. We were offered bonvoy points or cancel our reservation with no penalty. Obviously we could not cancel because we booked months in advance and now all other hotels were 2 to 3 times more expensive. So we came and stayed and made the best of it.

Swimming pool was not working. Staff was on strike. No room cleaning and services provided. Three nights of inconvenience. Only breakfast, no other dine in was open during staff strike. Booked through Expedia. Nobody bothered to call me of ongoing strike and swimming pool maintenance. No wonder staff is on strike for poor working conditions. No thanks.
