Very friendly staff...clean property

It was very convenient to be so close to terminals for an early flight out the next morning.

I have been a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member and recently enjoyed two excellent stays at other Marriott properties. Unfortunately, my experience at the Sheraton Portland Airport was deeply disappointing and has left me reconsidering my relationship with the brand. During our stay, we discovered a live bed bug in my son's bed upon waking. I immediately reported this to hotel staff, who assured me that management would be informed. However, nearly two weeks passed with no follow-up. I had to initiate contact again, and after another week, I received a response that was both delayed and dismissive. When I replied seeking clarification, I received no further communication. It has now been over five weeks since our stay. Despite escalating the issue both to the local management and to Marriott’s corporate customer service, I have yet to receive meaningful resolution or reassurance that the situation was taken seriously or properly addressed. This experience has left me concerned not only about the handling of my case but also about the health and safety standards at this location. We were forced to quarantine our belongings to prevent any infestation in our home. While I appreciate that the shower had reliably hot water, this is a minimal consolation given the circumstances. Most disappointing of all, I redeemed a significant number of points for this stay—points that were earned through years of brand loyalty. The value I received in return was unacceptable. As a result, I no longer feel confident staying at this property and have made the decision to close my Marriott-affiliated credit card. I sincerely hope Marriott takes this feedback seriously and addresses the breakdown in customer service and cleanliness standards that occurred here.

Bed was nice

The room had cob webs all over the ceiling. It was so noisy. Bathroom too small

The hotel is fine for overnight stays.

Good food & drinks

Very nice place to stay before a flight. It was great.
