"Partial ocean view is a joke"

The good: Good location right on the beach. Comfortable bed. Nice big pool with a pool bar. Pool towels provided. The restaurant was pretty good. The not so good: not enough chairs by the pool. The partial ocean view high floor room 603 was a waste of money. You can not see the beach or ocean from the room. You have to stand on the balcony and look to the left. You can not really even see it from sitting in the Adirondack chairs on the tiny balcony because they are too low and there is a black plastic mesh cover on the railing. The floors in the room were dirty. Housekeeper didn’t show up until 6pm on our third night and then they just left towels, coffee and water and only left us with one coffee cup. I guess they took the other one.

"Stay Far away!"

We booked an ocean front condo, two bedroom, but the band right below us plays until 11:00 pm- can’t sleep- sounds like they are right outside our door! Hotel said they may go longer, no offer to help or control volume! Two awful nights with band screaming into the mics- ridiculous. First condo had WiFi issue and tv didn’t work. Moved us to another- but phone doesn’t work and not the high floor we requested. Staff is inflexible and unwilling to help. Last night ai called for 3 hours and no answer at front desk. Hotel did not warn us of this. Will NEVER consider this low-quality resort again.

Attended the LRGV Stormwater Conference held at this location. Let me tell you...5 Star accommodations! All staff members were super friendly and full of positive energy. Place was so clean, room was perfect, and the Landshark Restaurant was on point.

We’re having a great time at the Margaritaville South Padre! It’s such a beautiful hotel/resort and the staff has been great. We are staying in condo #1021 which is gorgeously decorated & we love that it is oceanfront & therefore has the most amazing views! Highly recommend this resort & asking for this condo in particular if you are traveling with more than 2 people.
