Hyatt Place Flint/Grand Blanc

This a great location and the staff are very friendly. It’s nice that there is a Meijer store right next door. It’s very clean and tidy. The only issue is the road noise if you are in the back of the hotel. We have stayed in the front before and it’s quiet. Also, the A/C unit is in the wall and runs off and on all night. I definitely will stay here again but keeping these things in mind.

Our stay was Both relaxing and soothing. The stores and Gas stations near by was very convenient dont have to go far literally right next door. Room service was great and welcome.

Convenient to store, shopping, dining, and airport. The staff worked together as a team and found me a room that met my elderly mothers needs.

During my recent stay at Hyatt Place, I would like to highlight the excellent support I received from several team members, as well as share an area of concern. Lois was extremely helpful and patient in setting up my reservation, and I am very grateful for her assistance. On the morning of my check-in, Kiarus was kind and thoughtful. Over the phone he explained that while my room would not be ready until around 1:30, I was welcome to come in earlier if I wished. He also shared that he would let Kimberly know about my arrival before he left that morning. When I arrived at the hotel around 1:00, the room was not yet ready, but Kimberly was extremely professional, kind, and helpful. She took my information and processed the payment with the credit card I wanted to use. She assured me that everything was set, and all my guest and I would need to do later was stop by to pick up our key cards. Unfortunately, when we returned for the keys, the experience changed. The young lady at the desk was difficult and created unnecessary challenges for my guest, who had never stayed in the Flint area before. She required me to resend a picture of my credentials and insisted on taking my guest’s credit card, which resulted in him paying for his own stay despite the fact that I had already completed the payment process earlier. This was very disappointing, embarrassing, and reflected a breakdown in communication. Overall, I truly appreciate the kindness and professionalism shown by Lois, Kiarus, and Kimberly. However, I was very dissatisfied with the confusion at check-in, which negatively impacted my guest’s first impression of Hyatt Place.

Clean and comfortable hotel. We spent 6 nights here in August for a sporting event. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The lobby area clean and smells very nice. We had a double queen room. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The A/C was cold, the shower temperature hot. The breakfast area was clean and the offerings were plentiful and delicious. I would plan to stay again based on our experience. We had no issues during our stay.

The Hyatt Place Flint/Grand Blanc is very clean and has a friendly staff. The only complaint I have is that the air conditioning in the room (319) is loud and made it difficult to sleep.

Property is clean and well maintained. The staff are very friendly. I find the beds too soft, but otherwise the rooms are very good.
