Weaver House

Location was perfect, 2 min walk and you were in Watergate street, the main hub of Chester. Lovely kitchen and all bedrooms were large and airy.

The upstairs floors were really creaky, so noisy when people were moving around especially at night. The blind in the back bedroom on the first floor was missing the rod to close it, which meant I didn't get much privacy. Thankfully the beds were really comfortable so the light didn't disturb me. It would benefit from a parking space, like the house next door.

Great location next to Watergate Street. Bedrooms were all equally sized and quite spacious. Well equipped kitchen.

The street area around the house not attractive to look at. Lounge area a bit cramped and would be very tight for 8 people. All the upstairs floorboards creaked with every movement. Traffic wardens very active and even when unloading and loading luggage you needed to keep your eyes open.

Our only issue was parking as the only driver has mobility issues. This issue was clearly explained before our visit, and car parks were close, as described, but we did wonder if the small grassed area in front could be converted to a parking space, as next door

Location was great, just a few minutes walk to shops, restaurants etc just what we wanted.

Really lovely property, lots of room, very comfortable and nice decor. Good location for what we needed and reasonable parking very close by. Shops and bars very close by, the only negative to that was the noise of emptying of glass bins late at night. Would definitely stay again.
