Belizean Nirvana

Lovely hosts and staff, extremely well maintained property, much attention to detail, very well located.

I highly recommend Nirvana where you can enjoy clean comfortable accommodations. Experience the sunrise from your private veranda or on the beach. A variety of beach activities are available. Breakfast is provided on the rooftop which affords panoramic views. Nirvana is steps away from shops and restaurants.

This is a great property if you want to be in town and not stuck out at a resort. The rooms are fantastic.

This was our umpteenth visit to Nirvana and it is, of course, as good as ever. Evan and Barbara and their staff are like family to us and nothing is too much trouble for them. Amenities and facilities are second to none and a lovely addition this year is bamboo bed linen. Close proximity to the village centre makes Nirvana the perfect place to stay in Placencia and the views from the roof terrace at full moon are breathtaking. Wonderful, again!

The Belizean Nirvana was an excellent place for a vacation. The host and staff treat you like family.

Best hotel we have stayed at anywhere in Belize (and one of my all-time favorites anywhere)! Nirvana pretty much sums it up. Beautiful room, comfy bed and an incredible porch with chairs and hammocks overlooking the Caribbean. Staff is also wonderful, accommodating and friendly. Bonus was the kayaks and paddleboards that were available steps from the sea. Also, the best beach we have seen in Belize (and we have travelled all over). Cannot think of a single thing I would change about this place.

Barbara and Evan, owners of the property, were very informative and accommodating. The staff were truly kind and helpful when we needed anything. The room we booked was the one bedroom deluxe suite ocean front- named the “Namaste”. It had a full kitchen, dining area, and spacious living room. There were two full baths; one in the bedroom. The bedroom was very spacious and the suite itself was large for my husband and I. From the bedroom, there is a door that leads to the balcony and the balcony can be accessed through double doors from the living room which overlooks the ocean.

There is nothing we disliked.
