Location is very convenient, but be forewarned that it is near Martim Moniz which can be a bit gritty for some guests. Lots of immigrants and export companies, but ultimately a safe neighborhood. Also in June there are many festivities happening literally outside the hotel windows so it was very noisy until 3am for 3 of the 4 nights I stayed. Luckily I brought my own earplugs, and it was only after I checked in that the hotel staff kept warning me via whatsapp. Easy to walk everywhere and explore including the Castelo St Jorge, Alfama, Chiado, Avenida Liberdade. Local places and tourist places. Lots of ethnic foods including Chinese, Japanese, Nepalese restaurants near Martim Moniz. Apartment was well-stocked. Kitchen had pots, pans, dishes, etc. so you could cook. Oven, Refrigerator. Happy surprises was dishwasher and washing/drying machine for clothes. Their website does not make all these appliances clear but these are huge advantages. There was also dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent and dishwasher tabs. (Other apartments I stayed in were very stingy and did not provide these basic items). Shower and bathtub all very nice.

Location is on a very narrow busy street, so be careful about unloading your suitcases from the taxi. The staff will come out to help you. If you have young children, be aware. As an adult traveler, it was fine. Martim Moniz is gritty and a bit lower class. Also homeless. Ultimately it is safe, but be mentally prepared. Hotel is next to Mouraria neighborhood which during June holidays was very noisy. People and music bands playing music until 3-4am. Hotel could have provided earplugs or have extra insulation for noise. I brought my own earplugs and was tired enough to sleep, plus I was on holiday so it was not too big a problem. But if you were long-staying and working, I think the noise could've been a problem.

Staff were exceptionally friendly (thank you Mayane and Laura!), and always free to answer questions about where to go, whether it was for a walk of to find a restaurant. The location of the flat is very convenient, a few minutes from a tube station. The accomodation itself was spacious, confortable and clean. Perfect!

This is a beautiful, well-maintained property in a unique historical area. The staff provided exceptional customer service, in particular Margarida and Laura, and made us feel more than welcome. It is located in an interesting historical area, in the neighbourhood just below the Castelo de São Jorge, site of one of the most ancient fortifications in Portugal, and on the edge of the fascinating and colourful Alfama district. There are ample local shops and fabulous restaurants just steps away; in particular we highly recommend Gazzo across the street and Pizzaria Local e Kebab for take-away. The apartment itself was spotless, cool, and comfortable: a perfect haven from the heat and long walks around the district. We were fortunate to enjoy the start of the Festas de Santo Antonio on the streets of Alfama just outside the apartment, a massive evening festival of song, food, and grilled sardines that seems to attract everyone in the vicinity. Though it was a bit loud on Saturday night, it was also a unique and inviting experience and we enjoyed it immensely. Parking in the area is next to impossible, but Margarida and Laura were extremely communicative and helpful with check-in, check-out, luggage, and local information, and taxis and Ubers are plentiful and inexpensive, so we were able to simply return our rental and enjoy the city on foot. Our family of 4 had a wonderful time and we can’t recommend this property enough.

The staff and in particular Silvia were incredibly kind and helpful. They made us feel at home. The kitchen is well appointed and the apartment is located next to many shops and restaurants.

Modern, comfortable, fully equipped apartment with great beds and responsive staff. Especially nice was daily room cleaning and refresh. Metro is close by, as well as a delightful and friendly coffee shop--Kossie's Cafe.

In a gentrifying, Moorish neighborhood location that is a little out of the way. If looking for a neighborhood with local restaurant options or if you like to take a nearby evening walk, you'd need to travel by Uber, Metro or the tram to a different neighborhood.

The staff, Mayane and Laura, were very warm and helpful. Excellent service. Place was spotlessly clean. Beds very comfortable.

Next time I would rent on a higher floor.

Margarida was a wonderful conduit of information. She also was highly efficient in booking fado & taxis for us. She quickly answered any questions we had ,also.

Thought the price for a one bedroom was a little high. The apartment was centrally located & immaculate. Easy to walk to excursions & other sights

It was very clean, well updated, centrally located, well maintained and managed.

Dining table was too small for chairs to slide underneath comfortably.
