Hotel 1620 Plymouth Harbor

The beds were very uncomfortable and you could hear the springs every time you would move. Sorry

Went to an event there and it was very nice. It was a fund raiser for a wonderful charity in Carver mass.

Great location with modern styling and beautiful, comfortable and functional rooms and bathrooms. I think we got much more than we paid for and having the heated pool and Jim was another plus.

The water in the splash pad is cold

My main complaint was ongoing remodeling work near the room where we were staying. The noise was loud enough that we could not hear each other speak and it woke my grandchildren. My watch measured the noise at approximately 78 decibels. When we complained, the front desk called a manager, “Tom A.” He explained that the work was necessary and stated that it was on a different floor. While that may have been true, the noise level made it sound as though the work was happening in or directly adjacent to our room. Guests should not be placed in rooms so close to active remodeling. Hotel 1620 is the best place to stay in Plymouth, MA. Great location, nice guestrooms, nice view and nice customer service.

My friends and I stayed Jan 3 - 4. We had a great time. Upon arrival there was an issue with our door. We called and immediately the staff came and fixed it and was polite and efficient. We also were there with many kids while escaping our own. 😉 However had no noise issues or disturbances. It was great! Would definitely stay again.

Hotel 1620 is ideally located. It is a short walk to the shops and restaurants near the water. The lobby was actually on the second floor, The hotel is undergoing renovation, as there was a lot of construction material on the third floor. Our room was comfortable, nothing out of the ordinary. The fixtures in the bathroom were a bit dated. The shower worked all right, but the shower head was a bit loose and was held together with duct tape. I was shaving at the sink and the water drained very slowly. I stopped at the front desk and they sent up a technician. He pulled out a large clump of hair, which was causing the backup. I worked out at the small workout facility on the first floor. The floor had interlocking rubber tiles which covered the floor. It was right next to the pool and the moisture from the pool caused the floor to be wet. The stationary bike was not working and there was a treadmill and a stair master. They were dumb bells and a bench, but no other exercise equipment. There were yoga mats, but when I put the mat on the floor the mat was instantly wet. The staff at the front desk was very helpful in pointing out restaurants and places of interest. We got a special rate, so I am not sure what the normal rate is. Excellent location and staff, but the facilities were only average.
