Nine Tree by Parnas Seoul Insadong

Great location and a nice new property. Not as convenient if you are using the train system but great for shops and restaurants. The room was comfortable and well stocked. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was the best we had encountered with lots of traditional Korean items at a reasonable price.

A bit of an odd setup with the elevator as you come up off the street you go to the lobby on the fifth floor and change to a different elevator for guest rooms. Minor at most.

Central location, but not too busy. Close to metro, Bukcheon and the palace. Myeongdong is reachable on foot or by bus. Room size and toilet size for 3 pax is good. Well maintained daily. Good that there is a laundry room.

전반적으로 호텔은 괜찮았지만. 세탁 시설과 몇 가지 관리 측면에서 개선이 필요하다고 느꼈습니다. * 객실 크기가 다소 작은 편입니다. * 호텔 규모에 비해 세탁기와 건조기 수가 너무 적습니다. * 건조기는 시간이 오래 걸리고 옷이 완전히 마르지 않습니다. * 세탁이 끝난 후 객실로 옷을 옮길 수 있도록 카트가 있으면 좋겠습니다. * 천장형 에어컨이 벤치 바로 위에 설치되어 있어 물이 떨어집니다. * 세제(Detergent)가 모두 소진되었을 때는 버튼이 작동하지 않도록 해주시면 좋겠습니다. * 세제 투입구에는 영어로 “Detergent (Liquid/Powder)“라고 명확히 표기해 주세요. * 건조기 표시도 개선이 필요합니다. “Strength” 대신 “Fully Dry(완전 건조)“라고 표기하고, “Normal” 대신 “Slightly Damp(약간 촉촉함)“라고 표시하면 외국인 투숙객들이 이해하기 훨씬 쉽습니다. 세탁 시설 운영이 외부 업체에 의해 관리되더라도, 투숙객에게는 호텔 경험의 일부로 인식됩니다. 따라서 이러한 부분 역시 호텔의 전체 이미지와 만족도에 직접적인 영향을 미친다고 생각합니다. Overall, the hotel was pleasant, but there are several areas that could be improved, particularly regarding the laundry facilities. * The rooms are rather small. * There are too few washing machines and dryers for a hotel of this size. * The dryers take a long time and do not fully dry the clothes. * It would be helpful to provide laundry carts so guests can transport their clothes back and forth from washer to dryer and then to fold. * Water drips from the ceiling-mounted air conditioner onto the sitting bench below. * When the detergent has run out, the machine buttons should be disabled to prevent guests from adding money. Otherwise, return the money * Please label the detergent compartment in English as “Detergent (Liquid/Powder).” * The dryer settings could also be clearer. Instead of “Strength,” please use “Fully Dry,” and instead of “Normal,” consider using “Slightly Damp.” Even if the laundry facilities are operated by an external company, they are still part of the guest experience and inevitably reflect on the hotel’s overall image and reputation.
