Nine Tree by Parnas Seoul Insadong

Centrally located with shops and restaurants steps away. Staff were responsive and our housekeeper kept our room stocked and clean.

Great location - within the quaint area of Insadong, across the street from Jogyesa Temple, short walk to the Angguk subway station, walkable (slightly longer) to Bukchon Hanok Village, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Gwanghwamun Square, Cheonggyecheon Stream, Ikseondong. Hotel looks very new and clean. Room is well equipped and comfortable. There are washing machines and dryers for guest use, and lockers to leave your luggage (even the large suitcases). Staff were helpful.

Our hotel had a great view of the city street down below and the temple across the street. Great location, right in the middle of Insadong. Walking distance to many major temples/palaces. Several direct bus options to most major tourist areas. Airport express bus is only 1 block away making it convenient for being the first/last hotel of your Seoul stay. Luggage area for lockers was huge and super convenient if you arrive early. Friendly staff.

Water kept on spraying out of the shower and soaking the floor towel even when trying to use the shower curtain all the way to the wall. The lobby is on the 5th floor so you have to take 2 elevators to your room no matter what. At the time, we paid a little under 2x for another hotel for the first half of our stay in a similar location. This hotel is definitely better, but the value seemed less worth it.
