House Forty one

I cannot say enough superlative things about House 41! It is in a quiet picturesque neighborhood in charming Ayelsbury. It is a beautiful house full of gorgeous wooden accents. The bedroom I stayed in (#2 I believe) was charming and the bed was very comfortable. The room is not large but it was large enough for me. Fixings for tea and coffee were provided (and delicious). The bathroom was large and wonderful. Proprietor “Helen” provides a limited complimentary breakfast menu (4 options if I recall correctly) and I was able to sample two of her breakfast offerings. They were absolutely delicious. I found myself wanting to stay an extra day just to sample breakfast #3! Honestly, Helen does not charge enough for House 41. This place is an incredible bargain. I hope I end up visiting the Ayelsbury area again someday just so I can revisit House 41. 6 stars out of 5! FYI…I was unable to book any rides through Uber (Lyft does not operate here), so if you’re a rideshare aficionado, you’ll be out of luck here but Helen provides the phone numbers for two local taxi companies and I never had trouble getting a ride in 5-7 minutes.

Lovely house in residential area, well converted and decorated. Felt like home straight away! Very pleasant and helpful host. Immaculate room. Location; 5 minutes to a pub. 15 minutes to town centre. Ample on-site parking.
