No hot water in the night, room smelled quite stale at first, but resolved after extensive airing

The whole concept of the apartment was unusual for me but I really liked it a lot. There was free water and some cookies available. The apartment and also common area was very nice, clean and it smelled really good (like in wellness). It was also close to the train station.

The area where it is placed, is probably not the nicest areas of Brussels You have to walk quite a lot to get to any restaurant.

The place is amazing, modern, neat, spacious, beautifully decorated, the host very helpful and responsive. The extras of water and coffee was really a nice gesture. Thank you

Our room had two problems, I don’t know what are they really, we had the jewel room it’s beautifully kept and decorated and was more than what we expected but: 1. There was a constant but random ticking noise, I think coming out of a pipe that’s passing in the room, it was very disturbing specially at night during sleep 2. Two of the four nights we stayed you returned to the room to find terrible smell in the room (toilet like kind of smell), to the extend we had to open the window in December to get ride of the terrible smell yet didn’t work. I don’t know but might be the sewage of other rooms somehow pass through our room.. donno really. If not for these two issues I would say the place is wonderful. The neighborhood is awful but we knew about that before we went so we were prepared
