We had some key issues

It was walking distance to the Brussels Midi station. Large rooms with lovely decor. Very clean and tidy

The property was clean, modern and well appointed. The room was large, comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. The property was well positioned near the midi- zuid station for day trips out to Bruges, Gent and Antwerp. The host allowed us to check in early which was convenient as we had large luggage.

The area had lots of construction happening.

Quiet location conveniently close to the MIDI station. Good sized rooms. Comfy beds. Big fluffy towels. Efficient air conditioning. Tea, coffee and water provided, also plates, cutlery, fridge and microwave. Well equipped communal kitchen but no cooking allowed - no explanation given.

We booked the family suite on the top floor. This comprised two bedrooms connected by a shared bathroom. This meant the bathroom was in fact the corridor between the two rooms, which seems a strange arrangement, especially as the whole suite is big enough to have been configured as two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

I liked the kitchen

It was very noisy. You could hear everything that is going on outside the door and also from the outside here everything going inside the room. That there is a lift and only a lift to take you to the rooms, I shudder to think what would happen if the lift broke down or there was a fire.

It was quiet and clean. The decor was interesting.

There was no breakfast. The stair were very inconvenient. There were two hairdryers in the bathroom, but no plug near the mirror to use them. The shower head is desperate to be changed, it sprays water in every direction and we had to mop the floor afterwards. Having to step up and down within the room was very inconvenient. There was no safe in the room.
