Children aged 15 years and below are not allowed to use the spa area. Reservations are required for spa treatments. Pets are allowed in a very limited number of rooms and will incur an additional charge of GBP 15 per pet per night. Please note that all special requests are subject to availability. Half-board rates include an allowance of up to GBP 40 per adult, per night, which can be spent on dishes chosen from the Dining Room menu, and GBP 35 per adult, per night for bookings made before July 1, 2025. "Our second visit to this hotel - it won’t be our last!"

Interior clean and very modern. Plenty of parking spaces. Stunning setting on the lakeside, but also in a central position to access most areas of the Lake District. Breakfast was excellent.

Only disappointment was the time needed to have dinner on our first night. Service was very slow.

Everything absolutely fantastic! We got ready here for our wedding and everyone was very kind and accommodating. Room was gorgeous and bed was so comfortable. The spa is so nice just remember to turn on the jets with a button on the floor before you go in the water.

"We were well served by the hotel staff and facilities so our land-mark celebration is fondly recalle"

We were upgraded from a room with "no view" when reception staff learned my wife and I were celebrating our Diamond Anniversary. A pleasant treat, thankyou. Breakfast was fine with wide choices available. it was slightly disappointing to find the evening meal menu lacking in depth and variety. However, the quality of meals and the serving staff scored highly.

The reception area seemed less than well lit and welcoming but the staff made up for for this with light, bright chatter. There was no daily updating of the evening meal menu or notice of "specials."
