We were upgraded from a room with "no view" when reception staff learned my wife and I were celebrating our Diamond Anniversary. A pleasant treat, thankyou. Breakfast was fine with wide choices available. it was slightly disappointing to find the evening meal menu lacking in depth and variety. However, the quality of meals and the serving staff scored highly.

The reception area seemed less than well lit and welcoming but the staff made up for for this with light, bright chatter. There was no daily updating of the evening meal menu or notice of "specials."

Lovely location and people.

The taxi service recommended by the hotel let me down, told me would collect me from Keswick then when called again later told me they wouldn’t

The location, the setting, all the staff, the breakfast, the pool, the sauna, the steam room, the huge bed, the shower.

Sadly, there was blood on one of the pillows that we were provided with however, staff were very swift to replace this. This was the only thing wrong. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again and can't wait till we do.
