Excellent stay at a great hotel. Staff were superb - very enjoyable experience all round

The pool wasn't the cleanest I've ever used. The water itself was cloudy and the tile/pool surface area looked very tired and in much need of a deep clean

Pool, food and staff

Nothing really. Although was busy with a boxing tournament taking place.

I liked the Breakfast, but was dissapointed to see no Air Con in the bedrooms. We bought two fans with us as I have two small children, but it still wasn't enough and the rooms were boiling hot and the windows barely opened.

The woman who was on the reception of the swimming pool/ Gym on Wednesday morning was quite rude. We arrived with two kids wanting to swim at around 7.30am but were told no children allowed until 9am. There was 1 adult in the pool - so wouldn't have impacted them as the children just wanted to go in the baby pool area. We had to wait for an hour with the children getting increasingly impatient and upset whilst the receptionist just sat and stared at us - really odd and uncomfortable behaviour.

The location works, the hotel is practical and comfortable. After struggling with the heat of the room in the second floor, the night manager relocated me to the ground floor where I slept soundly - and a decent nights sleep is most of what I really want from a hotel!

In the heatwave it retains the heat - it’s just a thin and they were trying with aircon units and fans. I checked in after 11pm but they still put me on the second floor despite knowing the only rooms that were usable were on the ground floor. That was half an hour of sleep time wasted unnecessarily
