Travelodge by Wyndham Vancouver Airport

I would not recommend staying here..especially if you have a pet. We stayed in a pet friendly room, and it was a disgusting room. Everything was old amd outdated. The phone did not work, and a couple of the lights could not be used bc the light socket didnt work. Everything was old in this room. The front desk staff were kind of rude as well. Due to the condition of this place I would not recommend staying here.

I already reported your hotel's fees to my credit card company as fraudulent charges. My husband and I also shared our experience with our family, friends and work colleagues at the federal and provincial governments. We never ended up staying at your hotel because your hotel refused to honor the preferential rate agreement. And yet your hotel charged not only the hotel fee but also the penalty fee of $190. Shame on you folks. You folks should train your manager and your front desk employees better. No wonder your review is not good (I should have reviewed what other people said before making any booking). Your employee said that if we showed up with proper ID and a copy of the agreement, you will honor the promised rate. The rate your employee was going to charge us was close to $400. Why would we pay $400 for sub par accommodation if we could spend the same amount of money on a much nicer accommodation. And yes, we ended up with a much better hotel and much better service that day. You will never get our business again (your hotel has also been blacklisted by our family, friends, and colleagues....and likely their acquaintances).

The AC was not working at all. Overall experience was terrible also because the room smells weird.

Hotel is outdated, this time the room was a bit better than last week, but still the rooms have unneeded furniture so it feels overcrowded.
