Travelodge by Wyndham Vancouver Airport

This place is stuck in a time warp. Feel like I've been transported back to the 80s. The outside of the hotel is completely run down and looks like a tower of terror. You get inside and it's extremely outdated! We went to our room only to find again, outdated and extremely dirty. There were cobwebs under the bed, stains on the walls, stains on the furniture. It was disgusting. We packed up our luggage and left straight away. Decided to bite the bullet and pay for another hotel. If you're looking for an old, outdated and grimy room, here's your place. Only good thing was that the staff were very polite and tried to assist us as much as possible. Probably because they know it's not up to standard.

Mold in windows in room, hair in the pool, pool has no heat so too cold to enter even if you want to deal with uncleanliness. No breakfast as advertised, instead you get one orange and oatmeal bar per room at the front desk. If you try to get out of reservation they will not allow or do anything for you. Worst experience at hotel yet.

The hotel was an inexpensive (comparatively speaking)1 nighter for a family member to catch an early morning flight. The air conditioner was less than stellar, but the property was quiet, and the linens/bathroom were clean. Pillows were far below desireable, tiny, flat little things that they were. To say we had a good rest before an early morning flight would be questionable, but then I'm not sure I would have slept much better at a 5 star, either. Walkable to restaurants.

The hotel and rooms are dirty, a lot of unneeded furniture in the room so that they seem to have everything but you can hardly move.

Staff was very helpful. The bagged breakfast was an unexpected bonus. Pool was quite cold. Property is showing its age - elevator lights don’t work, general wear and tear. But as a clean place to be a home base and sleep it was great

My flight was canceled due to the air canada strike and they will not contact me back about rescheduling my stay.

Accessibility is good! Close to everything which makes the drive easier

This hotel is older & in need of an upgrade. The picture on the internet is quite old. When I booked the hotel we were told there was an airport shuttle, there is NOT an airport shuttle! The room we stayed in was quite large & the bed was comfortable & clean. They offer a bagged breakfast & there is a coffee maker, fridge & microwave in the room. It is an economical hotel by Vancouver standards. There is a city bus stop close by but the air train station is SEVERAL blocks away.

Not a beautiful building from the outside but the rooms are very nice.
